NEW Student Registration

ALL Students NEW to Hondo ISD

(PK-12th Grade first time Hondo ISD Students)

In person registration: August 2, 2023, from 9-12pm & 1-3:30pm.

Location for all students: McDowell Middle School, 1602 27th Street S, Hondo, Texas 78861

Directions: Check-in at office, follow signs.

At registration time you must present the documents listed below.
*If any documents are missing you will be asked to reschedule with an appointment.*

Please, again, note that the Legal Guardian must register the child.

Child’s Birth Certificate
Child’s Social Security Card
ID of Parent/Guardian (Picture ID must be current, NO Expired ID’s will be accepted)
Child’s Immunization Records
Active Military ID (if applicable)
Last Report Card/Transcript (does not apply to initial school registration; PK/Kindergarten)
Proof of Residence (stating physical address)
- Examples: Light Bill, Water Bill, Property Tax Statement or New Buyers Contract
  - If you choose to bring a New Lease Agreement, it must have a parent/guardian and student name listed.
  - May not be more than 2 months old (EXPIRED, PAST DUE, OR DISCONNECTION NOTICES will not be accepted)
