Enroll at Hondo ISD!

Accepted Essential Enrollment Documents
 
  • Birth Certificate
A certified copy of the student’s birth certificate.
 
  • Immunization Records
Acceptable documents include current up to date immunization record.
 
  • Parent or Guardian Identification
To ensure a secure enrollment process, we'll need a valid ID from a parent or guardian. Picture ID must be current. No expired IDs will be accepted.
 
  • Proof of Residence 

To confirm your local address, homeowners can provide a recent utility bill (water, gas, or electric) showing the address, bill date, and amount. Utility bill can not be more than 2 months old. Expired, past due or disconnected bills will not be accepted.

 

Renters could present a current signed lease agreement with the parent or guardian listed as the leaseholder or occupant.  Please note, no subleasing or room rentals are permitted.

 

For unique living situations, an 'Establishing Proof of Residency' form must be completed by the parent or guardian and homeowner or leaseholder. Please contact the campus PEIMS clerk if you have a unique living situation.

 

Military families should provide their active Military ID.

 

  • Social Security Number
Social Security numbers are used for the Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS). Students without a Social Security number will be issued a State ID for PEIMS purposes, per TEC §25.001(b)(5).
 
  • Withdrawal papers
While not required, withdrawal papers from previous districts are encouraged if you have them.
 
  • Last Report Card/Transcript
This does not apply to first time school registration if you are registering for PreK or Kinder.
 
  • Other Documents as needed 
Other documents could be needed depending on your student’s specific situation: 504, Speech, or Special Education, legal guardianship documentation, foster care paperwork, legal name change documentation, adoption paperwork, other legal paperwork.
 
Once you submit, the campus PEIMS Clerk will contact you if additional information is needed.
 
Will your child be a transfer to Hondo ISD?
 
Begin the enrollment process by filling out the 2025-2026 Hondo ISd Application for Transfer.
