Hondo ISD Summer Meals Program

Hondo ISD is proud to continue providing healthy summer meals for children in our community through the Summer Meals Program. Meals will be served at no cost to children 18 years old and younger, as well as enrolled students with disabilities up to 21 years old. Children must be present to receive a meal. Adult meals will also be available for $5.00.

During the month of June, meals will be served at the Woolls Intermediate Cafeteria. Beginning in July, meal service will transition to the Hondo High School Cafeteria.

Meal service will be available Monday through Thursday:

  • Breakfast: 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM
  • Lunch: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Starting around June 1, families can use two State tools to find nearby sites serving no-cost meals for children 18 and younger:

  • VISIT: SummerFood.org
  • CALL: 2-1-1

In addition to locating a site, families are encouraged to frequently use these tools to confirm dates and times and gather additional information about meal services.

We look forward to serving our students and community this summer! 🦉
