Today at McDowell, students had the opportunity to take part in a Chartwell's Global Eats event, featuring a Jamaican-inspired Jerk Chicken with Rice and Beans. This special sample dish gave students the chance to experience Caribbean cuisine and try something new during their lunch period.
In addition to the meal, students received fun facts about Caribbean cuisine along with recipes for the featured dish.
To help guide future menu options, a survey will be shared with both students and staff to gather feedback on the meal and gauge interest in including the dish in next year’s menu.
