Taher CEO cooks for Woolls staff and students

Mr. Bruce Taher brought his large paella pan to spark curiosity and excitement for students to try new foods. Mr. Taher, with his fellow Taher employees, cooked a Spanish Paella with chicken, seafood and chorizo with traditional spices. While serving this international dish, Mr. Taher shared his experiences as a chef and his love of meals that bring friends and family together.

The Paella Tour is part of a culinary partnership between Hondo ISD and Taher. It is one of many chef-driven initiatives Taher provides to bring excitement to school meals, providing students and school communities opportunities to have more than just a traditional lunch by coming together through food.

Staff and Students at Woolls were given the opportunity to interact with the Taher's culinary staff and experience new food. During this time Mr. Taher spoke to students about his experience of working in the food industry, his travels to learn authentic recipes and his passion for food that unites communities.
