Volleyball to play at Regionals

Area Champions

 

The Hondo Owl Volleyball team captured the Area Championship by beating  Orange Grove, 20-25, 25-13, 17-25, 25-20, 15-10.

Owls set a school record for most wins with their 32nd win, and now 32-9 on the year.
Regional quarterfinals, Hondo vs. La Vernia, Tuesday, Nov. 12, 6 pm, at Blossom Center, North East ISD (Littleton Gym).

Please note that Northeast ISD has a clear bag policy. Detail information about the Gym rules are included below.

Littleton Gym Information

 

Clear Bag Policy-All spectators will go through a metal detector when entering the facility. NO purses. A small clutch works but no regular purses.  Also, please remember no pocket knives. 

 

-Noisemakers- Gym rules do NOT allow noisemakers of any kind in our facilities. Megaphones are only allowed to be used by cheerleaders in uniform. No Pep Bands allowed this year due to limited seating.

 

-Seating- All seating is upstairs. The downstairs bleachers are broken and will not be pulled out. Fans can bring a stadium chair, they may want to bring it.

 

Floor-NO one is allowed down on the floor besides the teams and coaches. This includes in pregame to shag balls. No parents, students, etc. will be allowed downstairs. 

 

-After the game, please do not allow your team to come up into the stands/front foyer to meet parents. The areas must be kept clear for safety purposes. Team can meet their parents outside and then come back into the building.

 

-End of Game Exit- Parents/fance can noy wait in the building for teams after the game. We ask them to meet their teams outside. Teams will exit the East side of the building (side where they park the bus). Once the game concludes, parents will be asked to exit the building.
